Abel in NY: Part Three

We made it! After 10 days, four airplane legs, country air, humidity, and LOTS of cuddles and love from Grandma, Grandpa and Auntie Em we are back in Denver. Before we get to the last of the pictures, here are some responses to some frequently asked questions:

1. Yes, Abel was very awesome on the plane.
2. No, he didn't really cry.
3. He seemed unaffected by the cabin pressure.
4. His sleep adjusted fairly easily on both sides of the trip.
5. His Grandma, Grandpa and Auntie Em were THRILLED to see him (and us them).
6. Yes, it was very sad to say goodbye.

At some point during the trip, Abel started practicing for Cir de Soleil. He pushed himself off of my stomach until he was fully arched. He enjoyed himself immensely for a good ten minutes, and then proceeded to spit up. Now Abel can count himself among the few of us that have actually puked on the top of our own heads.

A visit with Nat & Mia (who was having too much fun coloring to get a picture taken!)

Great Aunt Sue

Meeting Great Grandma Carmella, who encouraged Abel to not waste his time in front of computers, but rather spend time fashioning himself a skateboard and seeing the wide world. Abel loved kicking Carmella while in her lap, and she took it in stride (although reported being very worn out the next day!).
The last thing she said to Abel was, "I love you, Honey!".

Please look for a future blog about the question "Is Abel a Good Boy?".
